From The Anvil’s range of cabin hooks are designed for safely holding doors and windows in an open position, but can also be used to secure shutters, cupboards and more.

• This simplistic, timeless cabin hook is made from solid brass. A perfect design choice for internal and external doors, with many matching products available.

Aged Brass

A popular choice for Period homes and interiors; From The Anvil’s Aged Brass finish offers a characterful warmth and works beautifully, creating a real statement when used with deep, dark paint colours, and materials & textiles synonymous with luxury and abundance. Manufactured from solid, unlacquered Brass, our Aged Brass products undergo an accelerated ageing process before surface areas are repolished, creating a striking contrast between the darker patina left around the edges and recesses, and brighter surface areas. As an unlacquered, ‘living’ finish Aged Brass will continue to oxidise, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes too dark or tarnished, it can be polished to restore the brighter finish on surface areas.

Aged Bronze

Aged Bronze is a versatile finish that’s equally suited to interiors featuring lighter shades for bold contrast, or darker hues for a more subtle aesthetic. One of From The Anvil’s most popular finishes favoured for its dark, matte richness with distinctive warm undertones unlike any other finish in our range. From The Anvil’s Aged Bronze products are made using solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal is what gives it a dark, dramatic appearance, before a durable matt lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing to help protect and preserve its distinctive tones.

Polished Chrome

Polished Chrome is a high sheen finish that is best suited to modern interiors. its bright, reflective qualities work well where a clean, minimalistic look is desired; the cool tones complementing bold colours and contemporary styling. Polished Chrome products are made from a base of solid brass, with a durable chrome plating applied to the surface resulting in an exceedingly high-sheen finish.

Matt Black

Matt Black is an extremely versatile, timeless finish; Naturally, it looks great when used in ultra-modern settings, but can also be used to add a touch of sophistication and refinement to more traditional homes and interiors. From The Anvil’s Matt Black finish is applied to a base of solid steel, before being baked in a high temperature oven, resulting in the unique, subtle black patina which emphasises the products clean silhouette. Polished Nickel
