However, part: 66350085AA is a potential alternative. This replacement is almost a perfect match, but it features a central hook, rather than deadbolt. Some adjustment may be required depending on how the door has been prepared.

This Surelock multipoint door lock features 2 Rollers, 2 Hooks, 1 Deadbolt & 1 Latch.

A newer Cego Surelock which is a rebranded ERA, plastic snib under the latch will be stamped Surelock.

The full locks are now discontinued but replacement gearboxes are available

Although this is an Era lock it will not accept the standard Era gearbox as the deadbolt is to wide.

Use part ERACASE35THIN to replace the central gearbox or use the 66350085AA to replace the full mechanism however the hook and roller keeps will need to be repositioned.

Operation: Split Spindle

To lock the door

1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.

2. Lock the locking points and main deadbolt (if present) by turning the key.

To unlock the door

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.

2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.

Latch Reversal: Undo screws in the latch, remove, reverse, reinsert and replace screws.

You may find this lock used as an UPVC door lock or an aluminium door lock.
