The Cisa 11931 Electric Nightlatch Rim Lock is part of the Cisa Electric nightlatch range.

This range of Electronically operated, solenoid activated nightlatches are extremely popular on residential front doors where an access control or door entry (intercom) system is employed to allow remote unlocking of the door set. They are seen particularly often on main entrances and communal entrances to buildings of multiple occupancy. This version is designed for use on either inward on outward opening metal or timber doors. please select the required version when ordering.

Electronic nightlatches can be released via an electronic Pulse. This pulse activates a solenoid which releases the Latch bolt, which then returns into the lock case under spring tension allowing the door to be opened. used in both commercial and residential settings, the locks can also be operated manually in much the same way as a standard nightlatch therefore providing a great solution for upgrading mechanical nightlatches with a similar electronic option.

The 11931 version offers both an internal push release, and an internal override cylinder. An external Cisa rim cylinder is provided and 3 keys and a keep are supplied.

This version, the 11931 is certified in compliance with European standard EN 14846:08: grade 3 Security (500 kg lateral thrust and 200 kg front load)
