This Birmingham bar is a flat metal strip used to strengthen the frame of the door on the hinge side or if no nightlatch is fitted the lock side.

It can be used on the external face of the door frame of outward opening doors, it will resist chisel and jemmy attack if fixed to the external face of the door frame using security or burred screws.

This bar is a standard (Lattice Grooved) type with countersunk screw holes and supplied with fixings.
