Fire Brigade locks and padlocks are used in communal areas such as dry risers, utility cupboards, car parks and bin stores where authorised personnel and emergency services can gain access using a standardised set of common keys retained by Emergency services personnel.

These Fire Brigade FB1 and FB2 rim deadlocks are UK Fire Brigade approved surface mounted dead latch locks, which are specified in areas where the Fire Brigade can gain access in an emergency situation without breaking in the door.

The eadbolt is Key operated from both sides of the door, and is supplied with an escutcheon for the external face.

Keys are not supplied but are available to order separately if required.

FB rim dead locks are handed, please use the following information to select the handing you require:

For a door hinged on the left when viewed from inside use a left hand FB rim lock.
For a door hinged on the right when viewed from inside use a right hand FB rim lock.
