The Simplex L1000 Series provides exterior access by combination, while allowing free egress. This mechanical lock, with knob option, eliminates the material and labour expense of battery replacements, has a single access-code and is programmed via the keypad without removing the lock from the door.

This heavy-duty commercial quality product is extremely popular and often seen used in healthcare, educational and business facilities. 

The 1000 range includes various models. This model features key override, for the standard version without key override or passage mode, see SKU 10001S. For versions with passage mode (allowing code free usage) see SKU 10003S.

The Units come supplied with a 70mm backset Kaba latch, fitting template, installation tools, instructions, and fixings.

Please note that this product is not subject to our normal returns procedure and will only be repaired by the manufacturer, rather than replaced, products may be subject to manufacturer’s checks and their policy on replacements will apply.

Please note, In line with dormakaba’s own advice in relation to Simplex mechanical and electronic push button locks, please note that currently these products are not to be used on fire doors. This is due to the manufacturer awaiting new EN12209 test certificates and CE marking of some components. Once we are made aware of the necessary product changes being made and the locks becoming suitable once again for installation on fire doors, we shall update this message.
