Nightlatches are a common locking product found mainly on residential front doors. They ordinarily feature a single sprung latch locking point which engages automatically when the door is shut, securing the property.

The Union 1058 60mm backset rollerbolt nightlatch is non-deadlocking and supplied as a case only without external rim cylinder. Suitable rim cylinders are available seperately and must be purchased additionally if no current rim cylinder is to be re used.

This is a rollerbolt nightlatch and does not feature a conventional sprung latch bolt, instead a sprung roller passes over the keep and can be locks in position to prevent it returning back into the lock once the door is secure.

These Union Nightlatches feature a 60mm backset measurement, and available finishes are White, and Satin Chrome.

Key operated from the outside and with a lever handle operation from inside. The rollerbolt can be locked in position using the key or by lifting the internal lever up to the vertical position. It can be withdrawn by the handle from inside and from outside by the key.
